The Fate Mocked Me

Up there somewhere, sitting oh-so-benevolently on a cloud and playing with lightning bolts (which is what these God-type thingies do, unless I’ve been taught incorrectly), Fate is laughing uproariously. He probably spent the weekend wiping tears of painful laughter from his eyes and pointed me out to his friends and family as I typed my journal entry on the 13th. With each key stroke, he was probably bending over further and further, slapping his knee and begging me to stop making his life so damned easy. Not to mention amusing.
Remember how I said that my Friday 13th was great and nothing went wrong? Well, a fucking speeding fine dropped unceremoniously onto my doormat yesterday. So I’ve gone from clean licence/five years no claims to three-fucking-points and a car accident in the space of two months. Grrrrreat. And the really bad bit is, I was speeding so badly that it may or may not result in a court summons.
*gulp* Fuck.

p.s. And if anyone feels the need to point out that I wouldn’t have gotten a ticket if I hadn’t have been speeding, bite me. HARD.

good… optimistic is good :) when I was talking to the police man (dont ask) he told me that anything over 100mph is go to court… my friend was doing about your speed and got the three points and a fine…. I would bet on you being ok :)
