The Day With The New WordPress Theme

Could those of you with Wordpress and the time and inclination please download my latest WP theme and let me know what you think - particularly if it breaks? It’s not formally released yet but you can find it for download at that page.

The theme is 1.1 XHTML and CSS valid, 508 compliant and - like all my others (one day I will break my mould - honestly) - fixed width, two column and widget ready. Works across all resolutions 1024+ (although may look small in very large res) and has been tested on Safari, Internet Explorers 5.5, 6 and 7, FireFox 2.x and Opera 9.x (on Mac and PC).

I can’t take any credit for the image; it was bought at Stockxpert for a client and never used. It’s too pretty not to utilise, hence the release!

What do you think? Is it something you’d consider using? Your comments and suggestions are always most welcome - even if you’ve never commented here before or you’re not a WP user!

   I just happened across Sharon’s site when I was browsing over there and for the short time it was up (it was taken down again after I posted a comment) it looked good.

   I don’t have wordpress to test it out on but if I did, I’d use it. And this is from someone who prefers darker themes!

   Okay, had a quick fiddle around with it. Other than the fact that the gravatars overlap the sidebar in firefox - which can easily be fixed in the CSS - it all looks fine and doesn’t break my widgets. Yay.

   I don’t know if I would use it because I already have a lovely theme, but the design is very clean and the colours are different to a lot of the other general blog designs out there.

   It’s ok, I was going to comment on the theme change on your site but by the time I finished writing that essay comment, (sorry) I forgot. Then I came on here and noticed Vixx was the culprit behind it and commeneted here instead :)
