Random Rant #15

Did you know that inside every woman is magic? Mystery? Power and passion? Spirit and substance? Did you know that inside every woman is a goddess?

Quick question:

WHY THE FUCK is an advertisement peddling RAZORS spouting this shit? Edit: I’ve been looking for the advert concerned online for those of you who may not have seen it, but apparently it’s too shit even for Youtube - which is saying something, don’t you think?

Everything about this advertising campaign pisses me off. It’s ridiculous, pointless, sexist drivel and it drives me insane. I don’t use Gillette razors, but if I did I’d book myself on the next flight to Gillette’s HQ and stick my razor up their collective fucking ARSE.

The Gillette Tower is near where I live, shall I shove it up their arses for you?

P.S I use their razors and can confirm they haven’t revealed my inner goddess yet.

I wonder what it makes me if I use men’s razors? They are so much better than any ‘girlie’ razor I’ve owned.

Please, PLEASE do, Teesee. Giftwrapped from Vixx please!

Candi: Clearly you have no mystery, magic, passion, power, spirit or substance.

Or you do, and it simply doesn’t come from a fucking RAZOR!

Candi, I use men’s razors too. It makes me smoother faster and with less cuts. ;)

I have a VIBRATING Gilette razor… Can’t say much about the performance though, I’ve used Gilette’s razors since I was 14 or something… Because they often come in pink.

Their advertisement campaings are beyond ridiculous though, I bet the marketing people eat crack for breakfast. (I still want to die a little inside when I remembet that thorrible advert they aired on TV some years ago, “I’m your venuuuus, I’m your fireee, your desireeee!” Ugh.)

Teesee: That’s clever, I’ve never thought about using guys’ razors! Something to keep in mind when my current razor goes dull. :D

I always use men’s razors and shaving cream too :D I thought I was in the minority but judging by the other comments I suppose not!

I hate Gillette, although I must admit their print ads featuring David Beckham annoy me much more than the women’s ones.

Selphie, I used to get the girly Schick razors cuz they were purple. Then the men’s equivalent went on sale, so I grabbed a pack to see if my bf was right that they are better. Turns out, the men’s Schick razors have a nice bendy blade that conforms to my legs, which the purple razors don’t have. I’ve been a convert ever since.

    V, thanks. :) (and hi back. ;) )

Glad I’m not the only one who’s annoyed senseless by this drivel.

I’m now going out to buy men’s razors!

Gillette’s girly razors are crap. You can’t look like a goddess with your legs all cut to shreds. Men’s razors are so much better; cheaper, too.
