The Day I Was Back. No, REALLY
Apologies for being MIA? Promises that I won’t do it again? Lather, rinse, repeat the last fifty-nine billion times I’ve said this and then move on.
In my defense, I came back to the UK with a chest infection that I carried around with me in excess of a week, and I’ve been trying to occupy my son during my stint of the childcare over the summer holidays. That said, I AM now back, and will updated accordingly over the next few days. Scouts Honour.
The reason I can be so certain of this pledge? We’re fucking skint and I cannot afford to leave the house until payday on Friday. Heh.

You must tell me how you are enjoying your Wii Fit! I missed testing on Friday and it was like, “ooooh, too busy to work out, eh?” Jerk.
Looking forward to more posts! Hee.

You get paid early!! I’ve found a cheap way to entertain yourself… play Xbox 360 all day :p
Not very productive but it worked for me as I sat in waiting for the Parcel Farce guy to deliver a package… it finally turned up at 4pm.
Welcome back to your own blog.

You get paid Friday? I have to wait another week! Life is cruel.

Meggan: Funny story. Um . . . I don’t own a Wii yet. :p I’d been holding out for there aren’t any games that appeal, but since the Wii Fit came and people have been raving about it, that swayed me. So - am patiently awaiting my backpay from work to buy the console!
Teesee/Sharon: Nah, it’s all relative! It only means that I run out of money earlier in the month! But yes, great idea . . . if hadn’t have had S all day to interrupt my playing. Sob. :(
Claire: As is mine when you go AWOL. *hugs* Email is half-drafted, BTW!
V xx

Oh that is hilarious. I had no idea you hadn’t gotten the Wii itself yet. :D

That reminds me of a girl I went to school with many years ago - she loved the film Dirty Dancing so much that she bought a copy on video… but her family didn’t actually own a VCR so she had to go round her mates houses, asking if she could watch the film there.
And yes, the words “sad” and “cow” do spring to mind.
