The Day With WordCamp UK 2009

Wordcamp UK will be hosted in Cardiff this year. I’m very excited about this – for once I can save on overnight expenses, woot! – and had already secured my ticket before news that Matt Mullenweg was attending.

Don’t think Cardiff is going to be as glamorous a destination as Tokyo though. Hmmm . . .

    I went to WordCamp! Matt wasn’t there (he decided to go to the Utah one instead, which was lame-o) but it was awesome anyway. It’s great being surrounded by people with your same interests. You’ll have a great time!

    Well, he didn’t come last year so maybe he’ll make your next one, too. :)

    We’re waiting to find out if he’s just attending or will be speaking, but either way it’s great to have him there.

    It’s my first geeky event of any description, so I am a little nervous – looking forward to it though!
