Words Words Words

Welcome to my Library

I love to read. I know a lot of people say that to make them seem more interesting or plump up a boring CV, but in my case it's true - honestly. I think I'd sooner be without my TV than be without books.

For many years I kept a running tally of all the titles I'd read, including summary remarks and brief reviews. Then the plugin I used FUBARED and I was without such a system (sob), and I got tired of keeping manual accounts. Thankfully I got over myself, dug out the plugin and looked to reinstate everything. Yay.

I don't really have a favourite genre. I like chick-lit and contemporary fiction, but I also enjoy biographies, thrillers, horror and sci-fi, too. To date I've read 54 books since December 2005 (although bare in mind I didn't record the 30 or so books I read between April 2008 and November 2009!) and have 3 books sitting in my TBR pile.

Please be patient whilst this page loads; it contains a lot of images. I'd apologise for that but book covers are pretty and therefore utterly worth the wait.
