Slept forever last night. Asleep by 10pm, awake at 9 this morning - and I didn't even do anything last night that could tire me out. :p
Went to the hospital for the midwife to take my blood - this will test for Down's Syndrome and, um, Spina Bifada (sp?) I think. The bloods last week were essentially my booking in bloods - i.e. should have been taken two months ago. Anyway, iron level was “excellent” (thank God - I figured it may have been too high), the baby has the same blood type as I do and she listened to the heartbeat again - longer than the last time. Dave's heartbeat is 150-160 bpm, which - according to old wive's tales! - means he's a she! Over 130 is apparently a girl. Hmmm, hope she doesn't mind being called Dave!
Anyway, then came home and M and I watched Session 9, which I quite enjoyed, even though it could have been much scarier. :p The cover/poster is awesome though:
TeamSH have clearly taken influence from the film - I was so amazed!
We didn't go to the cinema in the end. Mark was knackered and didn't feel like it, so he promised to take me tomorrow night. We went to the Pearl of the Orient for food though, and it was wonderful - even though we were 15mins late cos I was pissing about online and trying to get this Region X DVD player thingy to work. (It does now, BTW. :D) Although we were kinda stuffed into this little room for all the early sittings (I felt like a battery hen :p), the food was gorgeous and it was just lovely. I forget sometimes how much I love being with him. He makes me laugh.
As usual, my eyes superceded my stomach, so I was full very early on. But not one to waste his food, M managed to finished it off pretty much. We got home in time for Friends, and snuggled down for an early night. It was a lovely end to a nice day, I guess.

Played SH2 for a coupla hours this morning, but - as usual - my concentration span won't last longer than that. Suppose I'd better do some housework . . .

Sat listening to my amazing, limited edition SH3 sample Soundtrack which arrived today, along with another SH2 shirt and Session 9 on DVD. How happy am I? :D :D :D It only took Dave a YEAR to send the film to me. :p
Stuck in work. Gaz has Parents' Evening, so Nick and I are hanging about till 7pm. :( I guess it's not too bad - I'm just pissing about online, surfing. I'm just tired, I guess - I was gonna try and watch Session 9 here, but as none of the PCs in work have been equipped with DVD drives, it's not possible just yet. Hopefully I'll be home by 8.30pm. :( It's a shame we can't have MSN/ICQ or anything here. I can't even access the chatroom cos of work's server. The bastards! :p
Looks like we'll be heading for London a week Friday. M's gonna try and take the day off work, so we'll see what happens. I'll feel more confident if Marky's with me. :D I'm so excited though - even though the guy can only offer us an hour or so, it's an INCREDIBLE opportunity. I just hope it all happens!
Not worked particularly hard today - not motivated at all. I have a sore throat and niggly, annoying cough, so maybe I'm coming down with something. Well, that's what I'm blaming. :p
Thought I felt the baby moving last night. Was sat watching Friends with M and I felt a kinda fluttering, low down on my right side. Maybe it's just me, but it was the most curious feeling. :) I just hope little Dave's hanging on in there.

I think M feels bad. He's been fussing over me ever since we got back, saying that he's sorry and he didn't realise that going to London on Monday meant so much to me. As usual, he doesn't listen to a word I say, so when I found out that - once again - he did the complete opposite of what I asked, I got mad and put the phone down on him. As it happens, Monday's off now anyway - the guy we were supposed to meet isn't available, so we may need another day that week. :p And if you're wondering why I'm sounding so secretive about this, it's because it's a secret! lol Suffice to say that when I get back, you'll all be the first to know. ;)
Anyway, don't worry V. :) M and I have had 10 yrs to get over fights and rows and name-calling. Today isn't any different. :p
Trillian won't even work today - it keeps opening for two mins and then the windows box pops up, telling me that that program has to close. Driving me insane. I think I don't realise how much I enjoy MSN until I can't do it. Man, I'm pathetic. :p
Right. Going for an early night, chocolate and Friends. :)

OMG. Remortgage is actually completing today. Should get cheque tomorrow.

I had a complete crying fit when I check bank account this morning to discover that Principality had taken Feb's mortgage payment. I had visions of another Redemption Statement being required, and even MORE of a delay on anything. Crying to my Financial Advisor, he got it all sorted - cheque tomorrow, cheque for survey to arrive in next week, as well as refund from Principality re: Feb's payment.
*jumps up and down with glee and cries tears of joy*
More to write, but I have a ton of work to do, so better get on with it. Update later.

When I sit down and think of it, the internet is just this incredible thing. All this information at my fingertips. Email - it's been a live-line in keeping in touch with friends that, otherwise, I probably would have lost touch with. And then there's all the people I've met online - all these friends from all over the world that I would otherwise never have known. I think of how Dave has now become one of my best friends, and without SHF and my Dad's crappy Mac we would never have met. Isn't life just amazing sometimes?
